AMTG R-Series Mobile Construction 3D Printers
AMTG R-Series systems are mobile robotic construction 3D printers designed for applications where compact deployment, multi-axis motion, and relocation between suitable working areas are important. The series includes the road-mobile AMTG R1 and the tracked AMTG R2.
Both platforms are professional printing systems rather than autonomous construction crews. The customer remains responsible for structural design, printable materials, reinforcement, foundations, permits, site safety, construction management, and the completed structure. AMTG supplies the equipment and supports the customer’s printing workflow.
AMTG R1: road-mobile deployment
The AMTG R1 combines a robotic printing system with a road-mobile vehicle platform. It is intended for customers who need to transport equipment between suitable project locations and deploy without assembling a large Cartesian gantry around every print area.

AMTG R2: compact tracked mobility
The AMTG R2 uses a compact tracked platform for projects with constrained access, suitable uneven terrain, or working areas where a larger road vehicle is impractical. Its self-propelled base supports positioning within the operating environment.

R1 or R2: how to choose
The correct mobile construction 3D printer depends on transportation requirements, access, terrain, working radius, repositioning plan, available power, material delivery, target structure, and the customer’s operating capabilities. R1 emphasizes road-mobile deployment; R2 emphasizes compact tracked movement within suitable working areas.
Neither platform eliminates the need to plan the complete process. Printer positioning, mixer and pump capacity, hose routing, material behavior, print speed, layer geometry, reinforcement, and the construction sequence must operate as one coordinated workflow.
Equipment and support
Depending on the agreed configuration, AMTG can supply the printer with a synchronized mixer and material pump and a power generator configured for the equipment package. The support scope can also include commissioning, operator preparation, print-file review, workflow guidance, and technical consultations.
